Assuming you want to know the truth here, to achieve all the natural-looking patinas and textures on this fountain, we had to: pound it with a variety of different hammers, run back and forth over it, twist it into weird contortions, then untwist it, shoot it repeatedly with special bullets, heat it, quench it, then hit it with strange chemicals. All that work just to get the "look" of something you'd find in a magical copper mine. Then...when it's all finished we cover it with optical Lexan so that the coloration remains just like the day you bought it. We're split on whether it's the wall of a canyon: upclose, or that same canyon viewed from 40,000 feet. Either way, it's really pretty.
